ICOSAC offers two membership categories. Each provides different benefits and levels of participation.

Membership Type 1
General Member
For Muslims Committed to ICOSAC's Mission
Who: Muslim adults (18+) who affirm ICOSAC's mission and Sunni Islamic creed
Membership Fee:
- Sliding Scale: $0–$120+/year (pay what you can)
- Family Plan: $0–$200+/year (up to 5 family members)
- Discount: Students, seniors, and low-income members pay $0+
What You Get:
- Voting Rights (Exclusive to General Members)

Supporting Member
For Non-Muslim Friends & Community Partners
Who: Non-Muslims who support ICOSAC's mission and want to contribute
Cost: Donation-based $0+ (choose your level)
What You Get:
- Community Belonging

- Giving & Advocacy
- ✅ Financial Support
- ✅ Volunteer Opportunity
- What You Don't Get:
- ❌ No voting rights (not Muslim; supporting role)
- ❌ No board election participation
- ❌ No access to restricted prayer/Islamic study spaces
- ❌ No constitutional amendment voting
Why Supporting Membership?
Many non-Muslim friends want to support ICOSAC and be part of the community through funding or donations, but respect that voting decisions should be made by Muslims committed to the Islamic mission. Supporting membership honors both.
How To Become A Member
Simple, Inclusive, Welcoming Process
ICOSAC is a nonprofit serving a marginalized community. Your information is confidential and never shared with third parties.
Welcome to ICOSAC! (Immediate)
Once the application is received and the dues processed:
✅ You're an official ICOSAC member
✅ Email confirmation sent within 24 hours
✅ Welcome packet mailed (membership card, governance overview, program guide)
✅ Invited to next membership meeting/event
✅ Added to member portal (access financials, voting information, programs)
✅ Added to member directory (optional; you choose if visible)
